One of the most popular online sites for sharing design ideas and inspirations, Houzz.com has named this stunning, sleek kitchen constructed with ultra slim Neolith surfacing among its “Best of Houzz 2016” winners. While Neolith helps to add a sense of modern, streamlined beauty to this fabulous home, looks are only half of the equation. Besides good looks, Neolith  offers strength, durability, and resilience unlike any other surfacing material in the world.

The annual Houzz survey studies a community of over 35 million monthly users to reveal the top-rated professionals, designs, and products. The Best of Houzz is awarded annually in three categories: Design, Customer Service, and Photography. Houzz users selected the images of the Somosaguas project in Madrid as one of their favorite design projects, making it, globally, the most shared project. Designed by Marcio Kogan, the kitchen features a countertop and an island top made with 12mm Cement Saltinado from Neolith’s Fusion Collection.

So, what makes Neolith so amazing? First of all, its size is significant. Neolith comes in extraordinarily thin sheets. Thickness (or thinness) ranges from 3mm to 12mm. Neolith can also be procured in two large formats measuring 3,200mm by 1,500mm and 3,600mm by 1,200mm. This allows for greater uniformity and continuity, plus it minimizes the number of joints in any given project. It’s also available in a variety of tile sizes from 600mm by 300mm to 1,500mm by 1,500mm. And perhaps best of all, Neolith is a super hero of a surfacing material. It’s resistant to scratching, stains, changes in temperature and moisture, high traffic, chemicals, and even ultra violet rays. Besides being virtually bullet proof, Neolith is also lighter and easier to transport than most other surfacing options.
