During the annual Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Las Vegas, held as part of the third annual Design & Construction Week January 19 through 22, Neolith unveiled their very latest color offerings. The largest trade show dedicated solely to the kitchen and bath industry, the event is the venue through which the latest products, trends, and ideas are introduced to the U.S. marketplace.

For those of you not familiar with Neolith, it’s an ultra-compact surfacing material that we’ve offered here at Marble & Granite, Inc. for the past few years. Though manmade, Neolith is comprised of all natural materials. It’s made of 100 percent clay or sand (including quartz, feldspar, silica, and mineral oxide), brought directly from the quarry to the manufacturing facility in Spain. Its properties make Neolith the ultimate in durability and resiliency. Neolith slabs are resistant to scratching, stains, extreme changes in temperature and moisture, high traffic, chemicals, and even ultra violet rays. In addition to its remarkable durability, Neolith is an exceptionally slim surface, making it lighter and easier to transport than most other surfacing options. 

New colors from Neolith include two additions to the popular Classtone Collection:

New from Neolith, Strata Argentum features fine horizontal grains in light gray, which resembles Silver Travertine and gives the illusion of different layers. It replicates the original texture of natural stone in its rawest state.

Following the success of Calacatta (2015 Red Dot Award: Product Design) Calacatta Gold is an elegant, gold-veined surface that’s bold and luxurious. It’s available bookmatched, in 6- and 12-mm thicknesses, and in Polished and Silk finishes. 

An addition to the Timber Collection:

Inspired by the trunk of a Lebanese Cedar tree, La Boheme is ideal for worktop applications like kitchen islands. It features a bold grain and raw wooden color that can be appreciated by sight and touch thanks to the texture achieved by Neolith Digital Design Technology. 

New to the Iron Collection: 

 Iron Frost is a neutral and minimalist design, distinguishable by its delicate notes of metallic sheen on white, with light gray shades. 

And new to the Fusion Collection: 

 Pierreo Bleue is a reinterpretation of Neolith’s classic Belgian Blue. Inspired by the natural stone know as “Le Petit Granit,” it’s the result of Neolith’s latest technology. It integrates numerous rock elements through the entire gray-blue body, and it stands out for its high degree of definition and realism.
